Proposed Charlton Public Safety Facility

The current Town of Charlton Fire and Police Facilities no longer adequately meet the needs of the community they serve. This website will provide information about the proposed project developed by the Building Committee which provides the most efficient and economical solution to ensure the safety of all residents.

Existing fire stations do not meet current standards of a modern fire facility. Station #2 originally built in 1929 as a highway barn until 1983. Policing has changed dramatically over the past 30 years and the current police station does not meet current standards of a modern police facility.
